Llegó a México Chip Foose el más grande de los modificadores automotrices de Estados Unidos reconocido a nivel mundial, por sus diseños y logros en esta área.
Chip Foose arrived in Mexico the largest U.S. automotive switches recognized worldwide for their designs and achievements in this area.
En conferencia de prensa hicieron la presentación de Chip Foose quien contó la historia de cómo llegó al nivel que tiene en cuanto a modificaciones y los proyectos para este 2010.
At a press conference made a presentation of Chip Foose who told the story of coming to the level it is about changes and projects for this 2010.
Comentó que desde los 3 años ha estado en el mundo de los autos de hecho al lado de su padre quien fue el que le dio su primer empleo donde se especializó en diseño de proyectos. A los 12 años con una experiencia de 5 años pintó su primer Porsche 356.
He commented that since the 3 years has been in the world of cars made next to his father who was the one who gave him his first job where he specialized in project design. At age 12 with 5 years experience painted his first Porsche 356.
En 1990 se gradúa en el Chip´s Art Center, habiendo realizado ya anteriormente el trabajo de diseño en empresas como Asha y la conceptualización de proyectos aún para las plantas armadoras en Norteamérica.

Asimismo estuvo en Stehrenberger Design como diseñador automotriz creando ilustraciones coloridas y modelos conceptuales, Baker Sportronics como jefe de diseño y fabricación de modelos y prototipos de los vehículos eléctricos utilizados en la NFL y NBL,y claro con su padre diseñando autos incluso para algunas películas como Blade Runner, Robocop y 60 segundos, el Shelby ‘Eleanor’.
Stehrenberger Design was also in automotive designer creating colored illustrations and conceptual models, Baker Sportronics as head of design and manufacture of models and prototypes of electric vehicles used in the NFL and NBL, and of course with his father designing cars and even some movies Blade Runner, Robocop and 60 seconds, the Shelby ‘Eleanor’.
En noviembre de 1990 empezó una relación laboral en Hot Rods by Boyd, tomando posición oficialmente en 1993 como diseñador y posteriormente director general y presidente, responsable de algunos vehículos conocidos internacionalmente como el Roadster, Sportstar, Boydster I y II y Boyd Air por mencionar algunos, saliendo de esta empresa en 1998.
In November 1990 he began a working relationship at Hot Rods by Boyd, taking place officially in 1993 as a designer and later CEO and president, responsible for some vehicles internationally known as the Roadster, Sportstar, Boydster I and II and Boyd Air to name a few , leaving the company in 1998.
El pilar más fuerte para crear su propia empresa fue su esposa Lynne en Huntington Beach, en California, en conjunto iniciaron la compañía denominada: Foose Design, desde donde ha desarrollado productos para el cine, para la televisión y para la industria automotriz.

Fue incluido en el Salón de la Fama Hot-Road del Salón SEMA en Las Vegas, Nevada en 1997 a los 31 años de edad. En 1998 recibe el Premio S.M.R.A de Hot-Road. En 1999 le entregan el America´s Most Beautiful Roaster en el 50 aniversario del Grand National Roaster Show. En 2000 lo premian por la creación del 0032, entre otros reconocimientos.
He was inducted into the Hall of Fame Hall Road Hot-SEMA in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997 to 31 years of age. Prize awarded in 1998 Hot-SMRA Road. In 1999 he delivered the America’s Most Beautiful Roaster on the 50th anniversary of the Grand National Roaster Show. In 2000 he is rewarded by the creation of 0032, among other honors
En enero del año 2000 firmó un acuerdo con MHT Luxury Alloys, comenzando la producción de los rines Foose. Al año siguiente en el Autoshow de Detroit, presenta el Grandmaster que es incluido en el Salón de la Fama y se premia el Starbird en el Road & Custom Car Museum. En 2003 el Speedbird (una derivación del nuevo Thunderbird), es nombrado Best of Show en el SEMA Show para Ford Motor Company.
In January 2000 signed an agreement with MHT Luxury Alloys, starting the production of Foose wheels. The following year the Detroit Auto Show, introduced the Grandmaster is included in the Hall of Fame and is rewarded in Starbird Road & Custom Car Museum. In 2003, the Speedbird (a derivation of the new Thunderbird), is named Best of Show at SEMA Show for Ford Motor Company.
Para 2003 comienza a incursionar en la ropa deportiva y accesorios con los diseños de sus vehículos más galardonados que lleva su nombre. Del 2004 a 2009 inicia la serie Overhaulin donde logra fama internacional en la televisión norteamericana con su programa de “Enchúlame la Máquina”.

En 2005 inicia en el diseño y creación de motocicletas entrando rápidamente al Salón de la Fama de San Francisco, en California. Recientemente Foose se presentó en el programa “Dream Car Garage” de Sun TV en Estados Unidos, desarrollando un proyecto desde los primeros trazos en dibujo hasta el pintado del auto.
In 2005 began designing and building fast motorcycles entering the Hall of Fame San Francisco, California. Foose recently appeared on «Dream Car Garage» on Sun TV in the U.S., developing a project from the first strokes in drawing up the car painted.
